How long does it take to charge an electric car at PlugShare?
Our family going on a little long-weekend road trip for my daughter’s birthday. We’re trying to maximize our time traveling, so my wife and I were wondering how long it takes to charge an electric car at a PlugShare station?

Happy birthday to your daughter—that sounds like such a great trip! The amount of time to charge will depend on how large your vehicle is and how much charge is needed. PlugShare has level 3 stations available which can bring a battery to from 0% to 80% in 30 to 45 minutes.
While quick-charging isn’t always recommended due to the stress it puts on the battery, it is convenient especially when short on time. Most of the level 3 stations on PlugShare’s network charge you per minute of use and are about $15 per hour on average.
Both the PlugShare app and the ChargeHub app are great ways to find the nearest stations near you so you’ll never be out of a charge.
