How long does it take to charge a Tesla SUV?

Does the Tesla SUV take a long time to charge? I’ve never owned a large electric car before, and I assume it needs more time on the charger than a smaller vehicle would.

It can take as little as 45 minutes to charge a Tesla SUV, but the real answer to this question depends on the type of charger you use.
The
Model X
and
Model Y
(Tesla’s SUV models) can reach full charge in 45 minutes at a 440-volt Tesla Supercharger station. With a more typical level two charging station, however, it will take between four and eight hours to charge your vehicle. And with the lowest level one charger, it could take up to 44 hours.
While the Model X is larger than most of Tesla’s other vehicles, this is a similar charging time to the
Model S
, a hatchback.
