How do you remove leaves from a car hood?

How do I get the leaves out of my car's hood? I live in a forested area of Vermont, and there are always leaves around and under the hood in the fall.

“The simplest way to remove leaves and other debris from your car is to use a blower, air compressor, or hose. Simply pop the hood and aim the air or water toward the leaves to push them out.
Alternatively, you could ask your mechanic to clear out the leaves while you’re having other
routine car maintenance
done.
To prevent your car from collecting leaves, your best bet is to store the vehicle in a garage. But we get it—that’s not always possible. Just be aware that if you often park on the street or in an uncovered lot, your car is more susceptible to damage, vandalism, and theft. Consider adding

to your car insurance policy for peace of mind.
