How do you remove blood from leather car seats?

I cut myself hiking this weekend and there’s some blood on the car seats as a result. How do you remove blood from leather car seats?

I hope you’re okay! Removing blood is pretty easy to do, so don’t worry.
To remove blood from leather seats, follow these steps:
  • Cover the stain with hydrogen peroxide.
  • With either your fingers or a cloth, massage the peroxide into the stain.
  • Let it sit for a minute or two.
  • Now, taking another cloth (paper towel works as well), blot the stain. (This will work better the harder you press with each blot.)
  • Continue these steps until you’ve successfully removed the stain.
  • You may want to finish by doing a quick interior clean. If you feel this is necessary, Lysol should do the trick!
