How do you program a 2005 Honda Civic remote?
What do I need to do in order to program my 2005 Honda Civic remote? I just got this car and I don’t really know how to use it, but I want to be able to unlock my car remotely if possible because I tend to use it to transport groceries and other heavy things.

It’s definitely convenient to have a remote handy, especially if you’re carrying lots of things! Here’s how to program your 2005
Honda Civic
remote:- Unlock your doors and turn your ignition to the ON or II position.
- Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote that you’d like to program.
- Turn the ignition to the ACCESSORY position (I) or the LOCK position (0), then switch it back to the ON position.
- Repeat steps two and three two additional times.
- After you’ve pressed the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote the third time, your doors should lock and/or unlock with the remote command.
- To confirm the remote, press the LOCK button and ensure the doors lock. If you’d like to program any additional remotes, press the LOCK button on those as well.
- Once you’ve programmed all of your remotes, turn your ignition back to the LOCK or 0 position.
- You should now lock and unlock your car via remote.
