Set to grace us with its presence early next year, the next-generation Honda
Accord has been spotted in the wild. The hybrid version is slated to hit the market a few months later. Jerry

. The 2023 Honda Accord under wraps
The Accord continues to impress with impeccable build quality, ample interior space, and driver-friendly road manners.
Spy photos of the 2023 Honda Accord show a smooth design that doesn’t stray much from the 10th-generation model. Clean and simple, the sedan features an unassuming grille and minimal surfacing along the sides. And the taillights look like they wrap around the rear end to the fenders.
The new Accord also features 18-inch wheels (an inch smaller than previous versions), a longer hood, and a lower roofline to increase the sedan’s aerodynamics. Not to mention a medium-size Chrome Wing Grill with two chrome-accented transverse horizontal lines.
Honda has big plans for hybrids, hoping they will make up at least half of sales for Accords, CR-Vs, and Civics. The hybrids are also predicted to be the top performing options in the lineup.
The 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid has a good chance of gaining more power, though the base turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four engine will likely remain unchanged.
The sedan’s six-speed manual transmission that Honda dropped a few years back is unlikely to return. However, buyers can expect a standard continuously variable automatic transmission.
We’re not likely to see an added all-wheel drive on the new Honda Accord, even though rivals like the Toyota Camry and Kia K5 already offer it.
2023 Honda Accord: trims and interior
Car and Driver expect the new Accord’s interior to adopt air vents with a unique honeycomb texture and a tablet-style touch screen like the new Civic and CR-V. The Accord is also a staff favorite at the publication, snagging the Editors’ Choice and 10Best awards every year.
Drivers love the ample head and legroom, as well as luxurious seats equipped with fine leather. The spacious cabin also offers a center console for storage, all-season floor mats, wireless charging ports, and a climate control system.
The 2023 Honda Accord will come in six trim levels. The LX is estimated to start at $28,000, the Hybrid at $30,000, and the Sport at $32,000. The upper trims include the EX for about $34,000, the EX-L for $36,000, and the high-end Touring for $40,000.
While a release date for the new Honda Accord has yet to be revealed, it is slated to arrive after the July 12th debut of the 2023 Honda CR-V
