First, you’ll need to pair your phone or device to your Fusion if you haven’t already. These are generally the steps involved in doing so:
With your vehicle on and in park, from the SYNC infotainment system, press “phone,” then “add phone.”
From the Bluetooth settings on your phone or other device, find and select your vehicle to pair with, verify the displayed PINs match, then confirm the message on the infotainment screen.
Once your device is paired with your vehicle, you should be able to select Bluetooth as your audio source, and when you start playing music, you should hear it through your Ford Fusion’s stereo system.
Fusion will need to have Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to stream music to your vehicle via Bluetooth. Otherwise, you’ll only have the ability to make hands-free calls and/or texts—which is still a great way to avoid
