Are Crocs good for driving?
I love my Crocs and wear them just about everywhere, but a friend told me I shouldn’t wear them when I’m behind the wheel. Is it safe to wear Crocs while I’m driving?

Crocs are back big time, and you are certainly not alone in being a fan of their casual, comfy goodness. As to whether they are a good choice for driving, there’s a bit of a difference of opinion. Some folks think they’re great, while others allow that they might not be the best choice. Here’s the deal:
The best shoes for driving are ones that have a good sole, a closed toe, and aren’t too chunky or unwieldy. While Crocs get points in the sole and toe protection departments, they can be a bit clumsy, especially if you are wearing ones without a back strap.
So while they may not be the ideal choice, they’re likely no worse (and in some ways better) than driving in flip flops.
