How do you open the gas tank on Scion XB?

I bought a used Scion XB and don’t know how to open the gas tank. How do you open the gas tank on Scion XB?

You’ll need to pull the fuel door release lever to open the Scion XB gas tank. If that doesn’t work you can also open it manually by following these steps:

Remove the key from the ignition and step outside of your vehicle

Locate the fuel tank door on the left-hand side of your Scion

Press the fuel tank door till it pops open

When the time comes to refuel your Scion XB, check to make sure you

choose the best gasoline for your car

. Regular unleaded gas with an 87 octane number is best for your Scion XB. Choosing gasoline with a higher

would put you in the

premium gasoline

territory which may not be worth the price.

If you’re looking for ways to

save money on gas

, you should stick to regular unleaded at the pump and avoid rapid acceleration or hard breaking while driving.
