How do you open the gas tank on a 2014 Kia Soul?
Where is the gas tank lever for a 2014 Kia Soul? I’ve never driven one before and I’m not sure how to open the gas tank to fill it up.

Kia Soul
, you’ll need to pull on the fuel door lever. You can find this lever on the left-hand side of your driver’s seat on the floor near the front.When you pull up on this lever, your fuel door will spring open. Then, you can exit your vehicle, pull the fuel door fully open, and unscrew your gas cap by turning it counterclockwise until it comes free from your vehicle. Then, you can fill up your gas tank as normal.
If your fuel door doesn’t open when you pull the lever, it may be frozen shut. If this happens, simply push or tap lightly on the fuel door to dislodge some of the ice. This should free your fuel door.
If your door is not frozen and still won’t open, there could be a problem with the spring mechanism. In this event, you’ll need to visit your local
repair shop or mechanic
