How do you lock a Tesla Model X?

I just got my new Tesla Model X, and I can't figure out how to lock it. It usually seems to be locked when I go to drive it again, but I'm worried I'll leave it unlocked by mistake and someone will break in. How do I lock my Model X?

Model X doors and trunks will lock automatically if you have the key with you when you walk away. If your door or trunk is open, it will lock once closed. While inside your car, you can lock and unlock your doors with the touchscreen as long as your key is inside with you. Just click on the lock icon to access the controls.
You can set your doors to automatically unlock when you put your car into park by pressing the following selections on your touchscreen in order:
  • Controls
  • Settings
  • Doors & Locks
  • Unlock on Park
If you’d rather, you can also unlock your doors by pressing the Park button twice (that is, once to park and once to unlock).
The automatic locking feature keeps your car safer, but Teslas are still more likely to be targeted by thieves since they are expensive. Take a look at your insurance with the
