In general, a car alarm remote—or key fob—replacement costs somewhere between $15 and $60, but prices can range much higher depending on the make and model of your vehicle. Aftermarket key fobs can be bought online and may be found in some automotive stores.
Replacing the car alarm remote for an older vehicle will usually fall on the cheaper end of the spectrum, while the remotes for newer vehicles average out around $40 to $60—and even higher for high-end or luxury vehicles.
