Pop open the panel under the dashboard and open the fuse box to locate the Memory Erase Signal (MES) connector.
Twist a large paperclip into a U shape.
Connect the two pins on the MES connector with your paperclip.
Turn on your ignition. The SRS light should come on for six seconds before turning off again.
Disconnect the paperclip when the light turns off.
Reconnect the paperclip when the light comes back on.
Disconnect the paperclip for the last time when the light comes back on. You should see the light blink twice to indicate that it has been reset.
Turn your ignition off, then wait for 10 seconds before turning your car on again. Your light should come on for a moment or two, then turn off completely.
