How do you fix cigarette burns in a car ceiling?
I recently bought this awesome old Ford Mustang from an older gentleman who was a heavy smoker. Somehow he managed to burn a couple of holes in the car’s ceiling. Is there any way I can fix cigarette burns in a car ceiling?

! Unfortunately, burns in your car ceiling, or headliner, cannot be fixed without replacing the material for the entire headliner. Alternatively, you could patch the burns with a similar-looking fabric or decorative patch to give your headliner some personal style.If you want to get your headliner replaced professionally, you can expect to pay between $100 and $250 for the full replacement. You could also handle the replacement on your own by purchasing the material online for as cheap as $20, but you will have to remove and replace the headliner yourself. This process includes:
- Removing the old headliner and any components attached to it
- Cleaning the surface properly and preparing to install the new headliner
- Gluing your new headliner on
- Trimming to the right size
- Putting the headliner into the molding and reattaching them
- Making sure all electrical connections are properly connected
