How do you dry out leather car seats?

Last night, I accidentally left the sunroof open and it rained all over my leather seats. What’s the best way to dry them out?

It’s important to address this situation quickly, since water damage can leave a bad odor in your car. Before you begin to panic, though, take a towel and soak up as much water as you can. Then, replace it with a dry towel and rub the seats vigorously.
After that, roll all of the windows down and place multiple fans in and around the car. Run the fans on a high setting for half an hour or so. Then, turn on the car’s air conditioning to supplement the fans.
As the leather dries, it may stiffen. You can gently massage the seats for a few minutes to soften it again.
If you’re worried about an odor developing, you can try spraying them with a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts water or sprinkle them with baking soda later. (Research to ensure this is safe for your particular leather type.)
