How do you delete a Bluetooth device from a 2020 Honda CR-V?

I just leased a 2020 Honda and the previous owner left the Bluetooth system full of their own devices. Can you tell me how to delete Bluetooth devices from a 2020 Honda CR-V?

Finding remnants of a previous owner can always be a little weird when you
lease a car
, but luckily deleting Bluetooth devices is fairly straightforward! Follow these steps to delete a Bluetooth device from a 2020
Honda CR-V
:
  • Turn your Honda on but leave it in PARK.
  • Select the Phone menu on your Honda CR-V’s infotainment system by pressing the phone button.
  • Scroll through the options until you find and select the Phone Setup menu.
  • Scroll and select Bluetooth Setup from this menu.
  • Scroll and select Delete Device on this menu, and you’ll be prompted to select the device you want to delete.
  • Repeat this step as many times as you need to clear out unwanted Bluetooth devices from your 2020 Honda CR-V!
Once you’re done, you can use the Bluetooth Setup menu to add your own Bluetooth devices! This will allow you to play music from your device and use Honda’s HandsFreeLink voice commands for hands-free calls and texts.
Using a Bluetooth feature like Honda’s HandsFreeLink isn’t just convenient—it can also keep you safe on the road by helping you avoid
distracted driving
. This can also save you money since you’ll avoid costly tickets that could raise your
car insurance
costs. Not to mention, you may even be able to get a discount on your premium if you avoid tickets for a certain amount of time!
