How do you connect a Bluetooth device to the Acura RDX 2011?
I was recently gifted my uncle’s 2011 Acura RDX and I believe it has Bluetooth. How do I connect my phone to it?

Whether you use an iPhone or Android, it’s a straightforward process to connect your device via Bluetooth to the 2011 Acura RDX. Here’s how:
- Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone by going to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
- Be sure to keep the Bluetooth on for the entire time it is pairing with your car
- On the vehicle display, select Phone > Connect Phone > Connect New Device and select your phone’s name
- Wait for the Bluetooth connection request
- Check to see if the phone and car display have the same pairing code
- Click ‘Ok’ on the phone and select Connect on the car’s screen
Once your phone is paired with the car, you’ll be able to play your favorite tunes through the Bluetooth Audio system and answer calls hands-free. We don’t recommend fiddling with music controls on your phone while you’re driving, though, as it could be dangerous.
