How do you change the wipers on a BMW 328i?
Can you tell me how to change the wipers on my son’s BMW 328i? He’s not really one for material items, so I’m cleaning out his car as a birthday present. I want to change the wiper blades for him as part of the gift, but I’m not really sure how to do it!

That’s such a thoughtful gift! To change the wipers on your son’s [BMW
- Turn the wipers on, then stop them when they are halfway across the windshield, making it easier to access the blades.
- Lift the wipers away from the windshield. If you’d like, you can place a piece of cardboard over the windshield to protect it from scratches.
- Start on the driver’s side. To remove the old wiper blade, press the button or tab on your wiper, then carefully slide the old blade off of the wiper arm.
- Depending on the wipers that you purchase, you may need to attach an adapter to your wiper arm before you can attach the new blade. To do this, line up the adapter and the wiper arm, then press the adapter straight down until you hear a click.
- Align the tabs on the wiper blade and the adapter. Push the wiper forward until the tab slides through the blade with a click.
- Repeat this process on your passenger’s side.
- Remove the cardboard, push the wiper blades back down, and test out the wipers.
