To do this, simply move the wiper lever to the “MIST” position within 40 seconds of turning the engine off and hold it for at least two seconds—if done correctly, the blades should move to the service position.

Now that you’ve positioned the wiper arms for easy access, it’s time to switch out the old wiper blades for a new set.
- Use the release tab to remove the blade component from the wiper arm.
- Slide the old wiper blade out of its groove.
- Slide the new blade into place, making sure it fits snugly on the groove.
- Reattach the blade component to the wiper arm.
- Test the new blades by switching the ignition on and selecting “MIST” on the wiper lever.
