How do you change the time on a 2021 Mazda CX-5?
I am going on a cross-country trip, and this may sound silly, but it really bugs me when the clock in my car is wrong. I need to know how to keep it accurate. Can you tell me how to change the time on a 2021 Mazda CX-5?

This is totally valid and not at all silly. Having your clock set correctly helps your car feel
organized
and keeps you from having to second-guess your travel plan. To change the time on your
Mazda CX-5
, you need to use the Infotainment Screen which gives you access to most of your car’s accessory settings.Go into settings in the Infotainment Screen with the command knob and scroll to the clock heading. From here, you have three options:
- Option 1: Turn on GPS Sync if your model has GPS tracking. This will automatically adjust the clock to stay synchronized witty your GPS, which stays updated via satellite. This is a great option if you travel a lot, your clock will show the correct time for whatever time zone you are in.
- Option 2: Adjust the time zone. Check to be sure that the time zone setting is correct for your area.
- Option 3: If your clock is an hour off, you can manually toggle the Daylight Savings Time button on or off to adjust the time.
Once you are in the clock settings, you can also change the look and format of your clock’s display, if you like.
