Press the small tab or button on your key fob and remove the metal key.
Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the hole and carefully pry off the back cover. You can also use your key for this if you’d rather.
Make a note of where the negative and positive terminals sit in the remote, then remove the old battery from your key fob.
Place the new battery in your key fob in the same position to ensure that the battery terminals are lined up properly.
Press the back cover back into place. You should hear a click when you do this.
Replace the metal key.
