How do I reset oil life on a 2009 Toyota Camry?
I just got an oil change on my 2009 Toyota Camry, but for whatever reason, the maintenance required light remains on. I read that I can reset the oil life to fix this. But how do I reset the oil life on my 2009 Camry?

Although the internet says you can reset the oil life on a
Toyota Camry
, that’s not the case. Only Hondas have an oil life reset. However, you can still reset the maintenance required light on a 2009 Camry by following these steps:- Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position, but don’t start the engine.
- Use the trip button on the instrument cluster to set the middle readout to Trip A.
- Turn the key off.
- Hold down the trip button while you turn the key to the on position.
- This should turn off the maintenance required light.
