How do I play music through Bluetooth in a BMW from 2006?
I needed a car for my daily commute, so I bought a 2006 BMW on the cheap. However, it didn’t come with the owner’s manual, and I really want to play music through the Bluetooth system. How do I do it?

Unfortunately, Bluetooth audio streaming isn’t available in 2006 BMWs. That technology wasn’t widely available in BMWs until 2013. Before that, Bluetooth was only used in cars to make and receive hands-free phone calls.
There are some other ways to play music from your phone in older BMWs, though. If your car has an auxiliary port, you can connect your phone through that. Of course, it won’t charge your phone and you may need a Lightning adapter if you have a newer iPhone.
Alternatively, you can buy a Bluetooth car kit for about $15 to $20. This won’t use the BMW’s Bluetooth system, but you can hook it to the infotainment system to stream music from your phone.
Even if you got a steal on your 2006 BMW, you shouldn’t be satisfied by overpaying for your
