Updating your Volkswagen’s infotainment system is a pretty simple process! For a full

Infotainment system update, just follow these steps:

Check the center screen to see if there are any updates. If there is, “Update available” should be visible

When the software download is done, you can start the installation

When you turn off your car, the infotainment screen will ask you to choose “Start” to begin the installation

After the installation is done, you can leave the car and lock it. How long the installation takes will depend on how big the update is. In most cases, the installation will take about 15 minutes

When you turn your car back on after the installation is done, you’ll get a message telling you to finish the process
