I have a BMW M3 that I recently purchased. While I love it so far, I’m embarrassed by one thing: I have no idea how to pop open the gas tank. How do you open a gas tank on the BMW M3?

With no levers, buttons, or latches in the cabin, opening the gas tank on a BMW M3 is a bit confusing. Fortunately, it’s still easy! To open the gas tank on a BMW M3, follow these simple steps:
- Turn off the car engine.
- Make sure the doors are unlocked.
- Go around to the rear passenger’s side of the vehicle.
- Locate the fuel filler door.
- Press firmly on the left-hand side of the fuel filler door and it will pop right open.
