Is it illegal to blast music while driving?

Are there laws against playing my music too loud while I’m driving in Tennessee? I love blasting my music while I’m driving but I don’t want to get into trouble for it!

While there are no federal laws against blasting your music while you’re driving, you can still get in trouble in Tennessee if your
sound system
is clearly audible from a distance of 50 feet away or more.
If you do get a ticket for a loud sound system, you’ll have to pay a fine of up to $50. The offense is classified as a Class C misdemeanor.
To make sure that your music is at a good volume, have someone stand outside of your car while you turn on your stereo. Then, the person outside of your car can let you know when your music has reached a good level.
