Recently my electronic key fob has stopped working. I’m not sure if it needs new batteries or if it’s somehow damaged. How do I open a 2017 Hyundai Elantra key fob?

Here are the items you may need:
Key fob
Flat-head screwdriver
Precision screwdriver or pen, pencil, or toothpick
New battery, if necessary—this fob takes a CR2032 battery.
Start by pushing the button on the bottom of the Hyundai key fob. This will release the internal key which you can then remove.
Next to the keyhole, locate a small groove in the plastic. Put the tip of a flat-head screwdriver into the slot and gently twist. This will pop apart the two halves of the fob.
Use your precision screwdriver or a pencil to pry out the battery. Place the new battery in with the positive side (with text) facing down.
Put it all back together and you should be good to go!
