It’s relatively easy to connect a mobile device or tablet to the Bluetooth on a Ford Focus. You can connect your phone while you’re visiting and your aunt’s phone. Then, whenever you visit in the future, you’re all set up!
Here’s what you need to do:
- Turn on the phone’s Bluetooth
- Press the Phone button
- Look for ‘Settings’ and then ‘Add Device’ on the Ford Focus
- Check the phone’s list of Bluetooth devices and select ‘Ford Focus’
- Enter a pairing code, if prompted (try 0000, 1234, or whatever is listed in the owner’s manual)
That’s it! The phone’s contacts will now sync with the car. This allows you to make and accept phone calls hands-free
Older cars may require ongoing software updates to stay compatible with the newest Bluetooth technology. If you can’t get it to work on your aunt’s car, call the local Ford dealership and see if they can help.
