How do I connect Bluetooth to an Acura MDX?

My old SUV finally broke down, so I had to buy a new one. The Acura MDX is an awesome vehicle, and I’ve been nothing but pleased, but I can’t figure out how to use the Bluetooth system. What do I need to do to connect Bluetooth to an Acura MDX?

Congrats on the new ride! The MDX is one of the top-rated luxury SUVs on the market, so it’s no surprise you’re a fan. Fortunately, connecting Bluetooth on an Acura MDX is a quick, painless process. Just follow these steps to get the job done right:
  1. Turn on Bluetooth and discovery mode on your phone.
  2. Press the settings button on the touch screen.
  3. Select Bluetooth device list.
  4. Choose add Bluetooth device.
  5. Select your phone on the touch screen when it appears.
  6. The touch screen will provide a six-digit code.
  7. Make sure that it matches the code on your phone.
  8. If it matches, select HandsFreeLink on your phone.
  9. Your phone and Acura Bluetooth will pair automatically.
