How do I check tire pressure on a Hyundai Santa Fe?
I’m the proud owner of a Hyundai Santa Fe. Up until recently, it’s been great. But now it’s pulling to the left when I drive. I think I just need to fill the tires, but I’ve never done it before. What do I do to check tire pressure on a Santa Fe?

If your Hyundai Santa Fe is a 2007 or newer model, you should see a tire pressure monitor light on your dashboard denoted by a tire with an exclamation point in the middle. If you see this, you probably need to check your tire pressure.
Here’s how to do it:
- Check the door jamb on the driver’s side or the owner’s manual to find the right tire pressure. In most cases, it’s between 33 and 35 psi.
- Locate the valve stem and unscrew it.
- Push the tire gauge against the valve stem to get a psi reading.
- This will let you know whether you need to add or remove air from the tire.
- If you need air, use an air compressor. You can either buy one or go to a gas station to add air.
- If you need to remove air, press the backside of the tire gauge against the valve stem. If done correctly, you should hear air leaving the tire.
- Do the same for all of your tires.
