How do I check my driving record in Ohio?

Is there a way for me to see my Ohio driving record? I want to know more about my insurance and I know that my driving record can have a big impact on the rates I get.

You’re right that your driving record has an impact on your insurance rates! You can check your driving record in
Ohio
in a couple of ways:
  1. Visit the
    Ohio BMV website
and request your record using the online forms provided.
  2. Visit the BMV in person and ask the attendant to help you get a copy of your driving record.
  3. Request your record by mail by filling out form BMV 1173 and mailing it and the $5 fee to:
P.O. Box 16520 Columbus, Ohio 43216-6520
If you’re looking for a better insurance rate, however, it’s much easier to just download the
Jerry
