A remote start is an awesome accessory to cool or warm the interior of your 2020 Ford Explorer depending on the weather. You only need to program the key fob to get your remote starter to work.
To program the key fob, follow these step-by-step instructions:
Press the lock button on the key fob.
Press the remote start button on the key fob twice (the 2x on the key fob).
After this, your headlights should flash and the engine should start.
Depending on the setting, the Explorer will run for five, 10, or 15 minutes.
Once you get into the car, switch on the ignition before you drive the car. Otherwise, the engine will shut off. And that’s all there is to it!
