I’m studying to take an upcoming driving theory test to get my learner’s permit. I’m excited and I want to try to pass on my first try. Do you have any tips to help me ace it?

Some people love it, others hate it—but passing your driving theory test is one of the first crucial steps to getting your license. Like any other test, remember to get plenty of rest the night before, study smarter, not harder, and take deep breaths. You’ve got this!
The best way to pass your driving theory test as quickly as possible is to do the following:
Review and master your state’s local traffic laws—This includes being aware of things such as right-of-ways, who to yield to, and what the signs on the road mean.
Take a practice test—lots of websites offer sample questions that are similar to the questions you’ll come across on your test. Test yourself before, during, and after studying so you can become more familiar with the test questions and style.
Book your testing date—It goes without saying, but you’d be surprised how often many people forget to book a date. Many local motor vehicle offices only do tests by appointment, so be sure to check and schedule your appointment well in advance.
Take deep breaths—No matter what happens, it’s okay. Many people don’t pass on their first time and still manage to get their license. Revisit your study materials and you’ll be ready for your second try.
