does have Android Auto, but it isn’t universal. You’ll have to pay attention to your Ranger’s trim level to ensure you get the tech you want. There are three different trim levels Ford Ranger trim levels to choose from:
The XL provides Android Auto as an option, but this is an option you’ll have to select when purchasing it from the dealership. If you go with the XLT or the Lariat, Android Auto comes with your Ranger as a standard tech system.
You’ll also have to ensure that your Android smartphone runs Android Lollipop 5.0 software or higher to enjoy Android Auto in your Ranger, as this system is only compatible with smartphones that run on this software or later.
Besides Android Auto, the Ford Ranger also comes equipped with an AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth connectivity, FordPass Connect, and access to wifi. Optional features include a 10-speaker sound system, Ford AppLink, and Sirius XM.
