background
Hyundai has begun to focus on performance with a shift from hatchbacks to mid-engine sports cars. A lot of the information is up to speculation as not much is known about the new

note that there is little to know about the new Hyundai not even the name, however, they venture to call it the RM20 N. Here’s everything we know so far about the Hyundai RM20 N.

Estimated specs on the Hyundai RM20 N

Based on the production model of the vehicle the magazine states that it may have less horsepower than the estimated 390 hp. However, its power-to-weight ratio should help it rival the competition of the Chevy C8 Corvette and the Porsche 718 Cayman.
Besides the knowledge that Hyundai is making it a mid-engine sports car we’re left in the dark on the rest. Will it be marketed as a Hyundai or as a Genesis? It’s assumed that it will be sold for around $40,000 as a Hyundai over a pricier luxury Genesis.
The concept car that debuted in 2019 came with a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. However, Car and Driver anticipates that RM20 N will have between 325 to 350 hp making it more controllable and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The illustration even goes as far to say that the vehicle will rival the more expensive Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster.

What might the interior look like?

The interior of the Hyundai RM20 N is a complete mystery and though it could take design inspiration from the Veloster, it will hopefully be wholly special in itself. We can say with a bit of certainty that it will be a two-seater with not ample, but average, passenger room.
Car and Driver believe that it will have a bevy of standard and optional features like a head-up display, heated and ventilated seats, ambient interior lighting, and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that the Hyundai RM20 N will have not ample, but a decent amount of cargo space, with “practical cubby storage and a small trunk under the hood that will hold one or two carry-on suitcases”.
Tech-wise it can be assumed that the sports car will come standard with a touchscreen infotainment system which will have many desirable features, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an excellent sound system among other things.
When it comes to safety features the Veloster N doesn’t come with commonly seen driver-assistance tech, however, the RM20 N may have parking sensors and adaptive cruise control.
