Does my car have a rain sensor?

I am about to move to Portland and want to make sure I’m ready for the rain. Does my car have a rain sensor?

It’s smart to be prepared for any weather conditions! Your car may have a rain sensor which will automatically turn your wipers on in the rain.
A rain sensor detects the intensity of rain to turn on or adjust the power of your window wipers. If your wipers are turning on automatically, you definitely have rain sensors.
The rain sensors are either behind the rear view mirror or attached to the wipers themselves. If the sensor is behind the rear view mirror, you’ll be able to see a strip of lens adjoined to your car’s light sensor from the exterior of your vehicle.
