Does home insurance cover a car that was damaged while parked in front of my house?
I parked my car in my driveway last night. This morning, I woke up to find that the rear bumper was dented. I have no idea how this happened; I suspect one of my neighbors or a passerby accidentally hit my car. Will my home insurance cover this damage?

In most cases, your homeowners insurance is not going to cover a vehicle that is damaged while it’s parked in front of your house. That coverage would fall under the
auto insurance
