Does Colorado have toll roads?

I’m traveling through Colorado this summer and want to keep an eye out for toll roads (so I can avoid them). Does Colorado even have any toll roads?

Good thinking—and yes, they do! Colorado has a small handful of toll roads as well as a decent number of tolled Express Lanes. Colorado’s proper toll roads are:
  • Northwest Parkway
  • Pikes Peak Highway
  • E-470
Colorado has Express Lanes on:
  • I-25
  • I-70
  • Central 70
  • C-470
  • US-36
The Express Lanes charge a toll if you do not meet the vehicle or passenger requirements for avoiding the toll.
Before you hit the road for your big trip, make sure to take a second look at your
