BMW put out their recipe
for how to make a replica BMW entirely out of cake. If you can pull this one off, you’ll surely be impressing your guests this Christmas. The recipe involves making your own gingerbread to use as the base of the car with ingredients like sugar, honey, butter, vanilla extract, eggs, flour, and of course, gingerbread (along with other spices). To create the car decorations, all you’ll need is egg whites, powdered sugar, and some food coloring.
Once you’ve gathered all your ingredients, you’ll need to make the gingerbread dough, which takes over four hours. When the dough is ready, BMW suggests printing out a car template you want to use to form the cake, cutting out each individual piece, then gluing them onto cardboard. After each car piece is made out of gingerbread dough, it’s time to bake them.
Lastly, you’ll need to delicately assemble and decorate the car pieces. BMW suggests letting them sit overnight with the decorating substance before fully assembling the car the next day. When you decorate your car, use creative freedom to make it look like your favorite BMW—we think the
