Does an electric car charge slower the fuller it gets?

I haven't had my electric car for very long, but I'm noticing something weird when charging, and I need some clarification. Does an electric car charge slower the fuller it gets?

Excellent observation, and no, you aren’t going crazy! Your
electric car
does charge slower, the fuller it gets.
It’s called a charging curve. The charging curve refers to the changes in the rate of speed when charging as your battery gets filled.
A couple of things can affect your charging speed, like your battery’s state of charge. When your vehicle is nearly empty, the charging speed is much quicker, and when your battery is almost full, the charging speed decreases.
Consider filling up a bucket with water through a hose to make it a little clearer. When you begin to pour water into the empty bucket, you can quickly and fiercely pour the water. As the water levels begin to reach the top of the bucket, you’ll need to reduce the pressure and pour more precisely to avoid overflow.
Charging curves are essential to consider when factoring in your charging time. Top-up charging or charging at home overnight comes highly recommended when saving time and money when charging your EV.
