My grandma just gifted me a 2016 Chevy Malibu, and it’s pretty cool! I’d love to know if I’m able to play music from my phone in my new ride. Does the Malibu have Bluetooth?
First, make sure your phone’s Bluetooth functionality is set to On and that your Chevy Malibu is in Park. You won’t be able to pair your phone while the car is in motion.
Press the Phone button on your Chevy’s infotainment screen and select Pair or Search Device.
Then, from your phone’s Bluetooth settings, locate and select your Chevy Malibu.
Confirm the codes that appear on the infotainment screen and on your phone.
If your phone prompts you to accept the connection, select Always Accept and Allow.
Easy peasy! If all goes according to plan, you should be able to stream music from your phone, take and receive hands-free calls, and enjoy turn-by-turn navigation.
Other standard and available features on the 2016 Chevy Malibu include:
Rearview camera and navigation system
Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system with a 7 or 8-inch touchscreen display
