Do I need an international driving license for Florida?

I live in Toronto and I’m driving my kids down to Orlando to visit Disney World. Do I need to apply for an international driving permit before I leave? Or is my Ontario driver’s license sufficient?

Disney World sounds like a blast and your kids are sure to love it! You do not need an international driving license for Florida if you’re driving from Toronto—an Ontario driver’s license is valid in Florida.
Although there was a law passed that required Canadians to carry an international driving permit (IDP), it’s been put on hold and an IDP is no longer required to drive in the Sunshine State.
That said, you will want to make sure you have the proper car insurance when traveling internationally. Most policies won’t cover international driving, but
