Locate the two plastic panels connecting the roof and the trunk. Gently pull them up.
Close your trunk and continue to pull up the plastic panels along the roof of your Honda Pilot.
Locate the hole markers on the plastic panels. They will look like circles with crosses in them.
Use a drill to make a hole in the markers.
Replace the panels.
Slide the roof rack into the panel holes and screw them into place.
