Can you rent electric cars in Key West?
I’m taking a trip with a couple of friends to Key West for a few weeks and I don’t know whether or not to drive my electric car, or just rent one while I’m there. Can you rent electric cars in Key West?

Key West is a great vacation spot! What’s better is that even if you don’t want to drive there the way down in your electric car, there are many electric car rental options available in Key West.
One of the great things about the Key West is that because of the small land area the laws allow for many different types of transportation on the road—even golf carts and scooters! Electric cars and golf carts are available in different sizes from two-seaters to six-seaters so you don’t have to worry about lack of space for your friends or travel items.
If you want to drive your electric vehicle there are electric charging stations available on the island. The island is small so charge anxiety isn’t a huge issue, but downloading a charging station app is a great way to always know where the charging ports are. Some hotels in Key West have charging stations available for free, but make sure to double-check before booking.
