It’s nice to be able to tow a smaller vehicle behind a moving truck, but if you want to do it with a Nissan Leaf, you’ll need to get a trailer. You cannot flat tow a Nissan Leaf.
Like all electric vehicles, the Leaf’s motor is mechanically connected to its wheels at all times. This means attempting to tow it with all four wheels on the ground can cause major damage. Leafs can only be towed one of three ways:
on a flatbed truck
front wheels elevated and back wheels on the road
back wheels elevated with front wheels secured on a tow dolly
