Can you flat tow a Honda Odyssey?

I just purchased a brand new RV and I’m wondering if I can safely flat tow my Honda Odyssey behind it?

The Honda Odyssey’s owners manual specifically advises against towing your Odyssey at more than 35 mph or for more than 50 miles. However, this is likely because tests at higher speeds and for longer distances simply have not been conducted. If your
Honda Odyssey
has manual transmission, it may be safely flat towed with the right equipment.
However, it’s quite unlikely that you have a minivan with a stick shift. If your Odyssey is automatic, flat towing won’t be possible—in fact, it’ll significantly damage the vehicle’s transmission.
Since the Odyssey is front-wheel-drive, you’ll have to tow the automatic version using a dolly that lifts the front two wheels off the ground.
Before doing so, be sure to thoroughly read your owner’s manual for detailed instructions on hooking up your Odyssey for towing. You’ll also want to purchase quality towing supplies and carefully read the installation instructions.
Finally, make sure you have a full-coverage

policy to protect your minivan.
