Do condo fees cover home insurance?
The condo fee for the unit I want to buy is almost $500. Is home insurance included in that cost?

Your monthly condo fee usually covers common services and amenities, not insurance for your unit.
These are things like:
- landscaping
- operating expenses for common areas
- sometimes insurance that goes towards the roof and other structures on the premises
