Flat towing involves attaching a tow bar to a vehicle and letting it roll on its own four wheels behind a motorhome or another vehicle.
The Chevy Colorado owner’s manual states that you should only flat tow four-wheel-drive vehicles that have a Neutral and a Four-Wheel Drive Low setting.
Two-wheel drive models or those without a neutral setting, cannot be flat towed.
