Can you fail your driving test for hitting the curb?
As the date for my driving test gets closer and closer, I’m evaluating all the ways it could go wrong. I know it sounds pessimistic but it helps me know what to avoid. My next question is, can I fail the driving test by hitting the curb?

If you hit the curb hard enough to knock the examiner out of their seat or if your wheel(s) drive onto the curb, you could receive an automatic fail.
However, simply touching the side of the curb is not considered a severe hit and will not result in an automatic fail. The instructor may consider it in your overall score but it’s not an automatic failure.
