Are polarized glasses good for night driving?

Do polarized lenses help with night driving? I sometimes have trouble driving at night because it’s really hard for me to see. I’m hoping that new lenses will help.

Unfortunately, polarized lenses aren’t good for night driving. In fact, the lenses could actually make it more difficult to see since the polarizing filter blocks some types of light from reaching the eye.
If you’re having trouble seeing while driving at night, there are two possible culprits: your eyes and your headlights. If you mostly have trouble seeing because it’s too dim, try
cleaning your headlights
. If you have trouble seeing due to blurring or streaking lights, however, you should talk to your eye doctor.
